We are looking for a Corporate and Public Affairs Communications Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, the Coordinator plays an active role in the deployment of TC Transcontinental’s internal and external communication activities and campaigns. The incumbent collaborates in the creation and dissemination of communication tools for various target audiences, across multiple formats and platforms. In addition, the Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the logistics of events organized by the Corporate Communications team.

 

This role is a one‑year contract based at our head office at 1 Place Ville Marie, Montreal.

The position requires four days per week of in‑office presence, with the option of one day per week of telework.

 

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

 

Corporate Communications

  • Deployment of communication plans
  • Timeline tracking and follow-up
  • Coordination of writing, editing, layout, and distribution
  • Logistics for communication activities
  • Updating informational materials
  • Support to senior management 

Public Affairs 

  • Coordination of media relations
  • Support to business units 
  • Implementation of communication plans
  • Participation in industry meetings 
  • Writing of communication materials 

Social Media 

  • Community management
  • Content creation
  • Monitoring and tracking of social media platforms 

Events 

  • Scenario development 
  • Logistical coordination

All other related duties.

 

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

  • University degree in Communications, Business Administration, Social or Political Sciences, or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in communications or a related field 
  • Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
