We’re looking for a Web Developer to build and optimize internal and customer-facing web applications that power our operations. In this role, you’ll work across the full stack—developing scalable back-end systems, crafting intuitive front-end experiences, and integrating APIs that connect our tools and platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high performing solutions that support automation, improve workflows, and drive business growth.

 

This position is currently open and reflects a new position created to support organizational growth.

 

The salary range for this position is 78,000$ to 90,000$ per year, commensurate with expereince, education, and internal equity. This range is  provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities. 

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Develop and enhance full stack web applications using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern frameworks.
  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces and ensure strong UI/UX.
  • Design scalable back-end systems and optimize application and database performance.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs for MIS, inventory, shipping, and client systems.
  • Manage Git repositories, deployments, and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot across the stack to resolve technical issues quickly.
  • Ensure application security and adherence to best practices.
  • Partner with teams across IT, marketing, logistics, and more to translate needs into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to documentation, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support workflow automation to improve efficiency and operational performance.

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in full stack web development in a professional environment, preferably within retail marketing, print production, logistics, or manufacturing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery; experience with Angular is a plus
  • Proficient with Git, modern deployment processes, and web application architecture
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (JSON/XML)
  • Comfortable working in Windows Server and Linux environments
  • Knowledge of secure coding, authentication, and data protection best practices
  • Experience with MIS, inventory, or shipping system integrations is an asset
  • Experience with AI coding assistance is an asset
  • Bonus: C#, FileMaker, and hybrid environments; familiarity with print or campaign workflows
  • Additional strengths: Bootstrap, cloud hosting, monitoring tools, and Agile/JIRA
  • Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
