Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Define the vision, strategic priorities, and long-term roadmap for Continuous Improvement across all supported sites.
  • Lead the development, coordination, and execution of multi-site CI action plans that align with corporate goals and operational requirements.
  • Champion a culture of operational excellence, structured problem-solving, and continuous learning across all levels of the organization.
  • Build strong partnerships with senior leadership, site leadership, and functional teams to identify operational challenges and develop improvement solutions.
  • Ensure CI initiatives align with corporate policies, compliance standards, and business objectives.

        Process Optimization

  • Oversee the deployment of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and other CI methodologies across production, fulfillment, and in-store marketing operations.
  • Guide the development and implementation of standardized processes, visual management systems, and workflow optimization tools.
  • Ensure the consistent use of KPIs and performance dashboards to monitor progress, drive accountability, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead the identification of cross-site bottlenecks, systemic issues, and improvement opportunities through thorough process mapping, analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Promote operational consistency by driving the adoption of common best practices across all sites.

Internal Client Service

  • Ensure high-quality support and service delivery to internal clients through responsive, solutions-oriented CI leadership.
  • Work closely with site teams to understand operational requirements and support successful implementation of CI initiatives.
  • Facilitate collaboration and information sharing among sites to sustain improvements and leverage best practices.

Department Leadership & Resource Management

  • Provide strategic direction, coaching, and performance management for the CI team, ensuring strong capability, engagement, and development.
  • Structure departmental resources to effectively support multi-site operational needs, ensuring efficient work coordination.
  • Ensure sound human resources management, including hiring, development, and succession planning.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance work environment grounded in accountability and continuous improvement.

Project & Financial Management

  • Oversee major CI projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and measurable outcomes are achieved.
  • Present project progress, financial results, and operational impact to senior leadership.
  • Prepare and manage the department budget, ensuring tight financial control and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Ensure that all CI activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

 

When your expertise drives us:

  • Post-secondary degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree an asset.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in operations, process improvement, or manufacturing
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale, multi-site Continuous Improvement programs with measurable business impact.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, DMAIC, etc.).
  • Change Management Certification is an asset (e.g. ADKAR)
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams across multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes and systems (e.g. ERP)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills – Experience Facilitating Kaizen events and process mapping workshops is an asset
  • Strong project and financial management skills, including budgeting and resource planning.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and strong leadership presence.
