Join our team as a Senior Software Developer – AI Integration, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-enabled software products. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing AI solutions, designing and building the next phases of intelligent products, and influencing the strategic direction of AI adoption across our ecosystem.
Location: Montreal (5800 rue St-Denis, Montréal, Quebec) or Mississauga (5255 Satellite Drive, Mississauga, Ontario)

When your actions lead to success:
• Maintain & optimize existing AI-enabled software products
o Analyze existing AI-enabled (ML & GenAI) Software Products codebase and techniques
o Deliver fixes and features related to the application of AI and its supporting infrastructure (data pipeline, model, API, testing, deployment, etc.)
o Deliver continuous improvement plan through conducting regular evaluations of ML/LLM models, parameters tuning, prompts, etc.
• Design & build the next phase(s) of AI-enabled products
o Key developer and AI subject matter expert within the new phase of major Products development
o Work collaboratively and design AI-enabled product features and its supporting infrastructure that most effectively address business needs
o Develop, deploy, train solutions following current and best practice SDLC process, ensure maintainability of the product
• Define & influence the future of AI direction in product development
o Benchmark AI (ML & GenAI) adoption across industry peers and integrate competitive insights
o Evaluate emerging AI capabilities for software development productivity, share best practices, facilitate upskilling
o Recommend architecture, governance, tool improvements, roadmap for AI usage
• Innovate the broader business ecosystem leveraging AI to solve challenges and fuel growth
o Engage with stakeholders across the business ecosystem to understand key business priorities and challenges
o Collaboratively identify and prioritize opportunities to leverage AI techniques to solve business challenges
o Conduct proof of concept experimentation, measure values, collect feedback, support the structuring and execution of formal initiatives
When your expertise drives us:
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning or Data Science
• 6+ years of software engineering experience (production-level delivery)
• 3+ years of experience applying ML/AI in business or production environments
• Proven expertise in working with modern LLMs
• Hands-on experience with vector databases, vector search, RAG architectures, prompt optimization techniques (compression, chain-of-thought, few-shot, etc.)
• Experience with fine-tuning tools and techniques (e.g., LoRA, PEFT, DeepSpeed, etc.)
• Experience integrating LLM or Gen AI APIs into production systems
• Solid understanding of MLOps best practices and model deployment (Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, etc.)
• Strong development experience with Python and proficiency with data science libraries (Scikit-learn, Pandas, Numpy) and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras
• Comfort working with unstructured data (text, PDFs, transcripts, emails) and embedding techniques (OpenAI)
