Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Responsible for confirming readiness and timely preparation of daily/weekly/monthly billing by gathering documentation and entering information into the system;
  • Responsible for follow up with Project Managers on missing/inconsistent billing information & accuracy required for invoicing;
  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of Installation and Decor PO requests with clients;
  • Responsible for maintaining PO request trackers;
  • Perform a variety of clerical and other duties as assigned;
  • Works under the close supervision of a team lead or supervisor;
  • Work as part of a team, follow and adhere to Transcontinental’s code of ethics and participate in continuous improvement efforts;
  • Fully understand and adhere to all relevant Environmental, Health & Safety, Human Resources, Quality, Security and Company policies and procedures;
  • Work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario, the Workplace Safety Insurance Act, and all other applicable legislated, environmental, health & safety regulations.

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of two (2) years in client facing role;
  • Billing experience is an asset but not required;
  • Ability to identify process improvements to the current billing procedure;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Working knowledge of billing procedures;
  • Excellent data entry skills;
  • Ability to efficiently perform billing activities;
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Excellent objection handling and negotiation skills;
  • Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently;
  • Strong skills in PC-based software applications, particularly Word and Excel;
  • Superior oral and written communications skills and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple jobs simultaneously & managing prioritization of issues daily.
